Home from Home house is exactly what it is, your home from home. A perfect house for families or group stays, the house has been completely renovated to suit the needs of its guests. Beautifully designed bedrooms and a great entertaining kitchen dining space await, whatever the reason. The house is really well located for the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy as well as marina, and you’re not far from climbing sites on the island. If you’re looking to explore further afield, you can follow the coastal path and walk the up to Tout Sculpture Park. You can also take the coastal path around the entire island. While it takes about 4 hours, the views are breath-taking during both good and bad weather! You’re close to takeaways, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets too – so whatever you need during your stay, it’s all there. As a special memento, the house also features local art which is available to purchase at the end of your stay.

Home from Home is set within the village of Fortuneswell. Its easy to join the coastal path down to Chesil Beach. On the beach you can visit The Cove House Bar & Restaurant and also Quiddles Café. You can follow the coastal path and walk up to Tout Sculpture Park. Or if you fancy a longer walk you can walk around the whole island following the coastal path (takes around 4 hours) Within the village of Fortuneswell you have a Co-op, a Post Office and a few takeaway restaurants. Bus stops are just across the road , we have a great service of every 10 mins. Parking is available at Hambro Car Park which is a 2 minute walk from the house.
