If you’re looking for a short getaway or extended stay on the Northumberland coastline, King’s Cottage is a recently refurbished property that has been done up to a very high standard so it’s a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Sleeping up to 6 guests across three bedrooms, you’ll have access to the entirety of this fully-equipped house which includes a living room, kitchen, dining room, and a family bathroom. Located in the charming town of Amble, King’s Cottage is also dog friendly so pups can enjoy a coastal break too! Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver.

King’s Cottage is located within a short walking distance of all that the beautiful town of Amble has to offer. With a bustling marina and long stretching sandy shores, there is plenty of fun to be had here. You can try your hand at watersports as there are plenty of activities on offer including sailing, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Hop on a boat trip to The Coquet Island, just a mile off the coast, to discover an array of wildlife. There are 35,000 nesting birds in the summer and a colony of over 600 seals! Amble is also home to delicious restaurants and cosy pubs so you can enjoy a truly relaxing break. As Amble is a fishing town, you can expect the best seafood fresh from the coast. If it’s shopping you’re looking for, the town has lots of independent stores. Head to Harbour Village and you’ll find 15 brand new pods selling arts, crafts, food, drink and gifts.
