Step into the hallway and from there you will find both bedrooms on your right hand side and the house bathroom on the left. This bright, modern, 2 bed ground floor apartment is located in a quiet complex, close to excellent local amenities. Only a 10 minute walk to Walmgate Bar Walls or a 15 minute walk to York city centre, this property is an ideal base from which to explore! Free allocated parking space for one car is included. This home has been beautifully decorated with modern touches throughout to provide a wonderful, comfortable stay for up to 4 guests looking to explore this wonderful city! At the end of the hallway is the impressive open plan kitchen/diner living room, laid out in an L-shape - a generous space, super for socialising and dinner entertaining! My kitchen is nicely equipped for home cooks and appliances include fridge freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax, with table and chairs for up to 6 (feel free to use as a work space), a large comfy sofa and 2 armchairs. TV is a 4K, smart TV. Bedroom 1 has a king size excellent quality bed with pillows and ample storage space inside the triple built-in wardrobes. Bedroom 2 has a single built in wardrobe and two twin single quality beds, which is suitable for children. Both bedrooms include hotel quality fresh white bed linen and fluffy white towels. White four-piece bathroom with separate shower cubicle. Towels are included, as well as complimentary miniature toiletries.

The location of my apartment makes it perfect for all types of travellers: - University of York is within easy walking distance - perfect for University open days, families wishing to visit their loved ones or Graduation occasions! My flat is one of few on Airbnb which is located close to York Uni. - For retail therapy and bargain hunters, York Designer Outlet is a must to visit! Only a 10 minute car journey and there are many local bus routes that take you straight there. - For the keen golfer, there are 2 popular golf courses nearby (Fulford and Heworth). For complete convenience, excellent local amenities which include independent Asian restaurants and international supermarkets. There are a parade of small supermarkets on Hull Road which are less than a 5 minute walk away - Freshways sells international food and Oriental Express sells Asian supermarket products. There is a BP garage (with a small M&S shop inside) and a Shell garage which is handy for milk and bread. Lidl, Morrisons and Waitrose are larger supermarkets and they are a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute minute drive away. Bamboo Thai restaurant and takeaway is less than a 5 minute walk on Hull Road. The Rose and Crown pub serve great pies and across the road, The Rook and Gaskill sell burgers and have a pizza oven. These are both about a 5-10 minute walk away on Lawrence Street and you will find them on your to York city centre, just outside the City Bar Walls. The Gatehouse Coffee is a quirky & stone-clad coffee shop serving espresso drinks alongside baked goods & sandwiches and is a 10 minute walk away.
