Lovely guest house about 10 mins walk from old town. Luxury rooms and amenities. Very cosy given it was Christmas season and decorated in true English style. Even had the friendliest older cat who followed us in the door each night.

Excellent historic and lovely interesting views and sense of years gone past. Beautiful sunny warm day and a relatively non busy Sunday in May this year (2025), made the walk even more enjoyable. Did 3/4 of the walk in 2 stints.

The apartment was very well equipped and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into providing everything needed for a really good stay. Great location close to the city centre and some really nice restaurants on nearby Walmgate/Fossgate. A real plus to have the parking space available, giving us the ability to come and go as we pleased without any worry.
