No 1 The Turret is a beautiful modern and spacious 3 bedroom townhouse located in the heart of Kelso, benefitting from all the amenities of the town on your doorstep. The property has a been recently refurbished in a modern and comfortable style. The house has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, oven and washer/dryer. The three bedrooms are individually styled with comfortable high quality beds. The main bathroom has a modern walk in shower. The house also has another small bathroom with just a toilet and washbasin. The lounge has a modern corner sofa where you can relax and enjoy watching the flat screen TV. One unique feature of the property is the enclosed private courtyard which is accessed from patio doors from the kitchen, the decked area offers an ideal place to enjoy the warmer evenings with comfortable seating. The property also offers allocated private off road parking for two vehicles. All linen and towels are provided within the accommodation along with a complimentary welcome pack.

Neighborhood info

Due to the central location of No 1 The Turret it benefits from having all the amenities of Kelso just a few minutes away. Kelso boasts a unique cobbled square with predominately independent local shops, cafes and restaurants and is a delightful market town, which was named the most beautiful, if not the most romantic village in Scotland by Sir Walter Scott. Some local attractions include Floors Castle which was built in 1721 for the Duke of Roxburgh. The Castle is still inhabited by the current Duke of Roxburgh and offers a spectacular Victorian Walled Garden and Millenium Garden with walks and cycle trails. The Castle hosts some excellent entertainment events throughout the year. The area is renowned for its salmon fishing on the River Tweed and for its Golf with seven golf courses located in the locality. The local area is surrounded by historic buildings which all offer a unique experience to explore. Kelso is ideally located to explore the whole of the Scottish Borders and beyond.
