A collection of converted cabins and cottages sleeping from 2-7 guests, near Banchory, Scotland, 40 minutes from Aberdeen, in the North East of Scotland. Easily accessible by road, rail and air. Hire a car, or arrange a taxi to be collect you from Stonehaven or Aberdeen stations, or from Aberdeen airport. All accommodation is equipped with an outdoor hot tub and barbecue. Towels and linen are provided, along with firewood, books and games.

Sleeps 7 - 2 doubles, 1 twin and 1 single Situated right next door to No4 and equipped to the same high standard, this semi-detached house sleeps seven in two king size beds, one twin room and one single. Large kitchen/dining room, large sitting room, two bathrooms. No detail has been overlooked to make this a perfect holiday home, and for larger parties No 4 & No 5 are perfect to hire together creating an amazing combination of spaces to suit all ages. To the back of No 5 (and for your exclusive use) lies The Smiddy - a beautiful stone building housing a fabulous games space for you and your guests. And to the back of The Smiddy you will find an amazing, secluded outside entertaining space complete with a Swedish wood-fired hot tub, a Big Green Egg BBQ, firebowl and seating for you to enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Glen Dye.

Neighborhood info

Glen Dye is a private estate of around 15,000 acres and our cabins and cottages sit slap bang at its centre, surrounded by wilderness forest and moorland on the banks of the River Dye. The location is fabled; watched over by the massive granite tor of Clachnaben and at the northern end of the Cairn o Mount mountain pass. This is where the Howe of the Mearns finally gives in to the Highland boundary fault; wild, beautiful and very, very quiet.
