For cyclists the Fife Coastal Path starts at the Tay bridge and ends at North Queensferry, via historic castles, quaint fishing villages and award winning beaches. Excellent birdwatching opportunities are available at the many RSPB reserves, Tay Estuary and the nearby Tentsmuir beach and forest. Just on the outskirts of the town, Tayport Distillery produces fine Scottish spirits from locally sourced grain including gin, vodka, liqueurs and Eau de Vie. You can visit the Distillery and enjoy a tour which will give you a fascinating glimpse into the world of craft spirits.
