Very polite and friendly staff here😁. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Really good buffet breakfast. The location is excellent too as you are a stone's throw from the motorway if you're driving and there are shops and restaurants close by. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
This hotel is beside the River Tay, a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms are en suite and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens.

One of the most unique hotels in Perth, in a 15th-century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, lobby area and Lounge Bar.

Unique hotel in the middle of Perth, easy walking access into town. Friendly staff, plenty of parking and great breakfast! Room was large and comfortable. Worth going to see the well and waterwheel in the lobby!

The hotel is very convenient to the rail station… A 10 minute walk. The garden in the back was beautiful… During our visit, most of the flowers were in bloom.

We didn’t really explore the city but used it as a base for exploring the area. We did many hikes and beach walks all within an hours drive.
The Glover Arms is a fantastic pub with great food and dog friendly. They were really accommodating of food intolerances.

We visited the new installation of the stone of scone. It was really good. We would have liked to see the palace and the art gallery and the old museum. I think there was lots more to do also in the local vicinity.

Perth seems to have bucked the trend of many towns and appears to be thriving. The new museum is very informative with a good cafe. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to investigate.
The river has provided a good wild life corridor with otters having been seen in the evening. There are plenty of good walks around the town and surrounding countryside.

A dirty, sketchy neighborhood.
A dirty, sketchy neighborhood. The first and only time I felt I had to be on guard while in Scotland. Many of the shops and restaurants were closed even in early afternoon. Not much to do or see. Reasonable distance from airport but no other reason to stay here.
The accommodation rate was reasonable and a lot better than other hotels in the city. It was in a good central situation. The room was a good size, with the usual facilities and plenty of space for clothes and luggage. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was also a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is, apparently, the oldest established hotel in Scotland - goes back to 1699 - and can claim Bonnie Prince Charlie as a guest in 1745. Was surprised the hotel doesn't make more of this.
I booked the wrong hotel as I was looking for a hotel in Perth Australia. I could not see on the booking site, that the hotel was in an other country. I noticed the mistake afterwards and contact Booking and hotel and asked them to annulate the booking, but the hotel just ignored our writing and just cached the money. Really bad style.
Nice place, friendly people! Had some delay due to airport issues, communication was great so
no problem - we could check in in the middle of the night :) Great place to start and end a trip in the Higlands. Will come back for sure if heading to Northern Scotland via Perth.
