A very warm welcome to our beautiful single story cottage, a much loved 5* reviewed property just outside the town of Sherborne and a stones-throw from Wincanton. Boasting 3 bedrooms, plenty of space for socialising plus flexible accommodation, this cottage makes the perfect holiday home for a group, or family gathering. The property has been renovated to a high standard and everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling, including slippers and robes for all guests. As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has top of the line appliances including a fridge freezer, hob, double oven, grill, kettle, air fryer, toaster and a microwave. This stylish retreat gives you easy access to the best of Somerset and Dorset. Country walks and an award winning village pub within walking distance. Relax and watch the sheep, with a nice cold beer or wine. You'll also find all the conveniences you need; Toiletries, Tea, Coffee, Cereal, condiments, oil and butter, to get you started, and a welcome gift! This cottage has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6, 7 can be accommodated by request. In the first bedroom, you will find a king size bed. A travel cot is always available to be set up. In the next bedroom, there is a double bed. The third bedroom contains a bunk bed - 2 singles. There is one additional fold out bed - by request. There are 2 full bathrooms. The first bathroom has a toilet and sink and a claw foot tub. The en-suite bathroom has a toilet and sink and a large walk-in shower. There is also an additional cloakroom, with toilet and sink. Hotel grade linens and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. *Please note: a ring doorbell is installed at the property which monitors the entrance to the house. - Smoking/vaping is not allowed. - There are free parking on premises available

Neighbourhood information

We certainly welcome furry friends (up to 2) with advance notice and for a fee per stay, but please don't allow them in the bedrooms or on the beds - they will need to be booked in advance with your guests. The garden is now fully fenced, but please watch you dogs, and don't leave them outside on their own for periods of time as there usually are sheep in the field next door! *When your doggies do their business in the garden please bag it up and place it in the trash bin outside. *Do Not place hot pans on the worktops - trivets and boards are provided to protect the quartz. Also please wipe up any spills quickly as the quartz will stain if not cleaned off the surfaces/ *Sky TV is provided but no purchases to be made please (these will be billed with a service fee otherwise).* Coasters are provided for use on the furniture - do please use them. * We keep our rental rates very reasonable and in order for them to stay that way we ask that you please be energy conscious with the oil (used for water and heating) and electric. Feel free to turn the heating down (I recommend no lower than 15) and appliances off when you are out for the day. * Please turn off the lights/oven etc. if you go out and when you leave! * We do not provide facilities for charging vehicles. If you need to charge your electric vehicle, we understand, but we do not provide facilities for this, do please consider paying for that additional usage at the time of your stay, or a request for payment will be sent after. * There is a dehumidifier at the property - due to recent renovation there can be moisture in the air and the dehumidifier can be used to reduce it significantly - feel free to use it. With this is mind please don't hang excessive laundry in the house - there is a washing line outside and condensing dryer for your use (For longer term tenants I will show you how to empty the water from the dryer).
