Osprey Holiday Cottages are a local staycation specialist based on the Isle of Portland, Dorset. I am Philippa, I am the owner of the business, I pride myself and my business offering wonderful breaks to Weymouth & Portland. We have no call centres, just a dedicated local team ready to help. Shell Cottage is managed by Osprey Holiday Cottages. We are based on Portland. A house manual will be available at house on your arrival with our contact details. We have staff on call 24hours a day for emergencies.

Shell Cottage is located within the village of Easton, Portland, Dorset. The cottage has a generous downstairs living area, with a separate dining area and kitchen. A beautiful and peaceful private garden awaits with lawn and patio area. Upstairs, the cottage has a double bedroom at the front of the house and a large bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds. It's great base to explore Portland.

Neighbourhood information

Shell Cottage is 3 minutes walk from Easton Square. You will find a large children's play park and gardens which has seating for you to take in the scenery. Easton has three cafes, one of which is a gallery. You can catch the bus into Weymouth from Easton Village. During the summer months you can take an open top bus to Portland Bill. Over the last few years Easton has become very popular with the climbing community. Portland is the sport climbing mecca of South West England – renowned for its wealth of excellent quality climbing routes (over 18 of them). A minute's walk to the bus stop which can take you to Weymouth. The First bus service have buses running every 10 minutes during the day and every 30 mins at night from 11pm. During the summer months you can catch the 501 bus which is an open top bus. This goes from Weymouth beach to Portland Bill and this is an hourly service.
