Peacefully situated in Glen Hinnisdal, a truly hidden gem. You can walk up onto the ridge to join the Skye Trail from the road end, go hiking in any other direction, and stroll from the doorstep to fly fishing beats which the owner, who lives next door, can advise you on. The beauty is that you’re not far from the main Portree and Uig road, being only a few miles away. So you can be in Uig and Portree in no time at all where you will find bars, cafés, restaurants and lots of other things to do. The Fairy Glen is only a few glens away, and a highlight for any visit to the island. And a short drive via Uig and over the Trotternish Ridge will get you to the Quiraing, Staffin with its dinosaur footprints, Brothers’ Point with more dinosaur footprints, and the truly memorable Old Man of Storr.
