The Annexe is a detached studio property newly refurbished to a high standard. It comprises: smart fully fitted new kitchen with breakfast bar, fridge cooker and dishwasher; seating area with flat screen TV; double bed with lamps, light control and clock/radio; desk area with USB charging points; ensuite shower room with walk-in shower and shaving point. Security features include smoke alarm, emergency lighting, fire extinguisher and blanket. The Annexe is next to the owners detached property, who have one dog and five cats. There is off-road parking for one guests car.
Julian and Sue are looking forward to meeting you, and hope you enjoy your stay with us, We enjoy travelling ourselves, and will do our best to make your stay comfortable and relaxing if your are here for leisure, or productive if you are here for work. We're happy to share our knowledge of the local area, whether places to eat, drink and relax, or things to see and do. We live next door to the Annexe with our family and pets and lead a busy life style ourselves. We understand the needs of people that work away from home, or just need a calm base for visiting friends or family or for tourism.
The Annexe is situated within a quiety, mature residential estate of mostly detached houses with easy access to the motorway network M6, M61 and M65. It is also within walking distance (1/4 mile) of regular bus service between Preston and Wigam and (3/4 mile) to Bamber Bridge Railway Station, with hourly services to Preston, Blackpool, Blackburn and Burnley. There are easy connections to Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London. There are several eating and drinking establishments within easy walking distance, and there is a council leisure centre (1/4 mike) with gym and swimming facilities. Nearby golf courses including Pleasington and Royal Lytham. Tourist attractions include Blackpool, The Lake District, The Pennines and Snowdonia in North Wales. Seasonal Christmas Markets of Manchester and Chester are within easy reach.
