Surrounded by fields and enjoying superb, elevated views across the valley below, this delightful rustic conversion is full of character and offers a great space to discover the area which is nestled on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a garden and picturesque walks nearby your days can be full of relaxation or packed with activities. By night, with no light pollution there’s a great opportunity to discover the starry skies above. Close to Lancaster University (7 miles away) this accommodation is perfectly placed to have a relaxing break, combined with visiting the University. Just off the M6, Junction 34, it is also a convenient stop off location, if you are heading further north and need a break. Past guests heading to Scotland from the south have taken advantage of this.

The CowShed is in a rural location, close to the village of Halton, in the City of Lancaster. Set next to the 17th Century farmhouse and in a row of only two other houses, The CowShed is in a idillic position. The Crook O’ Lune river is a 15 minutes walk, where you can enjoy a brew with outstanding views. Halton village can be walked to within 15 minutes and hosts many amenities - The Greyhound Pub (that serves food) The Red Door Cafe, Newsagents, Convenience store, Hairdressers and Black’s Fish n’ Chips. The parking is private, exclusively for The CowShed. It is secured by a gate and the pathway to the garden of the property can be found directly opposite.
