    Great location and spotlessly clean. Really appreciated that there were some essential items available for use I.e tea/coffee, milk in fridge, shower gel in bathroom etc. Soft fluffy towels and really comfy bed. Would recommend 👌

  • how far from the property can we find parking facilities? are they free street parking orvpaid for parking? thanks

    There is on street parking right outside which costs approx £1 per hour. The first 30 mins are free. Also free overnight between 6pm and 9am. The Rockfield Centre is £5 for 24hour parking and is a 5 minute walk away.

  • Hi, I note the train station is not far from the apartment. Are there cafes close by for early breakfasts? As this is a Victorian building I take it that there is no lift?

    It is less than 5 minutes walk to the train station. There are plenty of cafes in Oban, all within a close proximity. Unfortunately there is no lift in the building and this property is on the third floor, but I think the views are worth the stairs!

  • Do you have parking ?

    Hi, You can park right outside which is paid at the meter and costs around £1 per hour and it is free between 6pm and 9am although there is no designated space. There are also a few longer stay parking options which I share with my guests.

I have been a property host for 5 years in my hometown of Oban, running Apartments Oban holiday accommodation. I love Scotland and enjoy exploring the huge variety of beaches, islands, forests and mountains on the west coast. I'm proud to be Scottish and love welcoming visitors to our seaside town and sharing the fantastic scenery and wildlife with the rest of the world. I use booking. com as a guest too, and enjoy travelling around the rest of Scotland as well as across Europe. I'm a total foodie and as a rule my trips and adventures must always involve finding the best bakery, coffee shop, cheesemaker, winery or whatever the tastiest local produce is along the way. I'd be delighted to share lots of local tips on where to get the best seafood, scenic cycling routes, wildlife watching, coastal walks and favourite picnic spots with my guests. I may be biased but there really is nothing better than watching the sun setting over Oban bay with some famous fresh seafood and a glass of wine.

One of the best locations in town, this apartment is situated in a traditional Victorian building right in the heart of Oban on the seafront esplanade. High ceilings and large windows create a light and spacious feel. Enjoy sea views and watching the ferries and fishing boats in Oban Bay from this third floor apartment. Step outside and breathe in the sea air, take an evening walk along the shoreline to watch the sunset, then dine on fresh, local seafood just a minute's walk from your door. The Editor's Choice is full of charm and character within this historic building.

Neighbourhood information

Located in the friendly seaside town of Oban in a prime position on the esplanade. This has got to be one of the best locations in town! Step outside on to the seafront promenade, jetty and pontoons. The location is perfect for all amenities and exploring the town as well as day trips from the ferry terminal. A choice of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars are just outside your door.
