Situated in peaceful Heworth, this former stable cottage is just a short walk from the historic city centre of York and in easy reach of all attractions and amenities. In addition to everything the city has to offer, Heworth provides a range of pubs, cafes, local shops, a park with children's play area and is well situated for accessing the North Yorkshire Coast, North Yorkshire Moors and the busy market towns and stately homes across the region. The Hideaway has all the comforts and amenities for families, couples and small groups to visit for a few days or relax during a longer stay. The property also offers all the home comforts and flexibilities for those visiting for business purposes.
We are conscientious hosts and travellers who appreciate quality and attention to detail. Having travelled as a couple and with a young family, we appreciate small touches can make a huge difference to your experience and fully understand the value of arriving at your destination and instantly feeling like you can switch off. Happy to respond to any questions or queries before or throughout your stay either through the App or via phone.
Quiet neighbourhood. 10-15 mins walk to City Centre and all main attractions - York Minster, museums, galleries, city walls, medieval streets, pubs, restaurants, river, parks. Local pubs, shops and cafes and eateries including post office and fish & chips. Park with children's play area. Within easy reach of North Yorkshire Coast, North Yorkshire Moors and market towns & stately homes Regular bus route to city & coast. Easy access to train and bus station. Central to Universities. Close to supermarkets and out of out of town shopping centres. Parking is on main street (East Parade) minimum 20 metres from door. Unloading permitted to front of property.
