Staying at Clementines Town Hotel in York was an absolute delight! The location was perfect, the room was beautifully decorated, and the staff was incredibly friendly. From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Highly recommend! Additionally, this was our second stay at Clementines Town Hotel, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is a truly beautiful place. Everywhere I turned there was a picture calling to be taken. The green grass, the beautiful gardens, trees and flowers, the small pond - everything had an Alice in Wonderlandish feel. It’s far enough from the city to be surrounded by beautiful green fields and close enough that you can get a taxi to ride into the city center when needed. The staff was exceptional, always polite and taking care of every request whether it was a cup of tea in the lawns or suggestions of what to do nearby. The spa was also wonderful - with the heated pool, jacuzzi and steam / sauna, it all added to a relaxing stay

A short walk from the railway station, Malmaison York is ideally located for the delights of medieval York, including: the Minster, the Shambles, Stonegate, Clifford's Tower and the impressive city walls. The hotel is an imaginatively repurposed office block, very comfortable with good facilities. Bedroom was spacious, although the decor was a bit too black-brown-grey. Friendly staff and a good meal in the restaurant. Recommended.
