The Matchbox is open plan, with a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, a dining space for four and a sitting area with Smart TV and woodburning stove. There are two double bedrooms, accompanied by a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside there is a front non-enclosed garden with furniture, bike storage and fire pit, and free roadside parking. Within 0.2 miles or less you will find a shop and a pub and please note that one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, towels and WiFi included in the rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Evenley is a quintessentially English village nestled in peaceful countryside close to the market towns of Brackley and Buckingham. The Village Green, which is only a few hundred metres from the property, is home to Evenley Forge, which includes a cafe serving freshly brewed coffee and homemade breads and baked goods, as well as a Post Office and village store selling everyday essentials, daily newspapers and local crafts. The village also boasts a thriving local pub and hosts regular cricket matches on the Green during the summer months. Evenley Woods and Garden provide a tranquil and magical woodland landscape to explore alongside the many footpaths and bridleways that can be accessed directly from the village.
