Property info

The Sound of Music Room is an extremely well equipped, self contained small oak barn outbuilding within the grounds of the Main House, and is slightly quirky! LPs from the 60s, 70s, 80s adorn the walls, and there is a Record Player, so you can listen to music Retro Style! It has all the cooking essentials, dishwasher, washing machine and more, and we leave croissant, milk, jams, butter, teas and coffee and a bottle of San Pelegrino water for you. It has an oven, hob and microwave, all the pots and pans and cooking stuff. Just bring food! Smart TV and Free Wifi. There is a two seater leather sofa. The inside dining table for two is a trestle, so you can move it into the centre of the room if you require. Washing machine and Dishwasher. Toaster and Kettle obviously! The huge Kingsize bed is made up with fresh air dried 400 thread Egyptian cotton linen and towels, soaps and shampoos etc. Restricted height room in shower but two shower heads There is an outside seating area also, so you can relax looking at the garden, and sometimes sheep! Please be aware that we are not a 5* hotel and our prices offer very good value for money for two guests.

Prestwick Oak is situated rurally in an AONB near Chiddingfold, and 3 miles from Haslemere. Enjoy the Music! Wow... there is sooo much around this beautiful area. Beautiful rural Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within 45 minutes from London, and 3 miles from Haslemere Mainline Train Station. Loads to do outdoors, lovely rural pubs, or just relax in the garden. Walks at Blackdown with far reaching views of three counties. Country pubs, The Swan, The Mulberry in Chiddingfold, or Duke of Cumberland in Fernhurst. Dog and Pheasant at Brook, of White Horse at Hascombe, are all fabulous. West Wittering is a 40 minute drive across the South Downs to THE most wonderful beach Wonderful hidden gem in an AONB, but with Haslemere Mainline station only 3 miles away. Loads and loads of walks, Blackdown, the South Downs etc. and gorgeous pubs. West Wittering only 40 minutes away.
