Situated in Wiveliscombe, a bustling town, and providing great access to the Brendon Hills, the Quantocks, and Exmoor. The property has now been converted into a superb holiday accommodation for up to 4 guests. The entrance hall leads into a 30' kitchen/dining room with high ceiling, cornices, stained glass windows, and attractive timbered floor there is a cloakroom and rear porch with access to courtyard. Off the hallway at the foot of the stairs, is a walk-in shower with hand basin. Stairs lead up to the first floor which opens out into a magnificent double storey lounge and also has the twin bedroom and a family bathroom (bath with hand-held shower attachment); a galleried double bedroom is reached by a large spiral staircase from which superb views can be enjoyed. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2) for a supplement per dog. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. Please note, the property is strictly non-smoking.

Wiveliscombe is ideally located to explore the Brendon Hills, the Quantocks, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as Exmoor National Park. Once a thriving market town, today Wiveliscombe, known locally as Wivey, is a bustling town comprising pubs, restaurants and an interesting variety of independent shops. The Old Reading Rooms has no allocated parking spaces but you can also park for free for 30 minutes on the roadside outside the property, this will enable you to unload/load your car directly outside the property. There are two free car parks in Wiveliscombe, both within 5 minutes walk from the property. North Street is slightly closer, the other one is Croft Way.
