About this property

The Old Vicarage Hotel & Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings in Bridgwater, with some parts dating back to the 14th century. The property has undergone extensive renovations to the oldest parts of the property, including 9 of the bedrooms, in 2019. Although parking is limited, we were satisfied with help from staff. Good food but a limited menu. Being in the middle of town there were options nearby. Location is so special, being in the middle of town, and right by St Mary's church.

The staff were so wonderful - all of them. The food and service in the bar and restaurant was really good. The hotel is a very old building and so ‘quirky’ is to be expected, but comfort is provided everywhere. It’s also great value for sure.
