This is the most homely, friendly and relaxed property and location for our holiday. Everything was excellent and the view out of the picture window onto Loch Tummel was spectacular. The welcome basket was very generous, even our dog received a welcome pack which was such a nice touch!!! We will certainly book this property again

The hosts were very friendly and kind enough to leave a welcome basket and some food items in the fridge that came in handy. The house itself was spotless, sofas and bed really comfy too. The view of the loch from the living room window was truly stunning. We also loved the log burner, there was plenty of wood supplied to keep us going for our stay.
United KingdomIf you are after some breathtaking views and some peace and quiet except for the wide variety of bird life which was music to our ears your in for a treat . We had two friendly ducks visit every morning and evening , hares bounding round and about and a beautiful red squirrel visit on occasions. We had a lovely warm welcome from our host Jennie who was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be revisiting here again .

We saw red squirrels and woodpeckers in the garden. The host Jennie has really thought of everything. From the delicious welcome pack (the dog even got his own) to games for all ages, films for the whole family for rainy days and every piece of equipment you need for young kids is provided. The view of the loch from the window is stunning and you can put your feet up by the log burner in the evening. Would love to come back in the warmer weather to make the most of the fire pit by the loch side.

The Stable Loft is cosy, spacious accomodation within a 200-year-old farm house and is formed within a converted hayloft. The current owners have refurbished the accommodation to a high standard and started welcoming guests in 2018. The house itself is in Foss in Perthshire. It is a peaceful oasis in the Loch Tummel valley, surrounded by scenery and nature in the heart of Highland Perthshire. It is tucked away from it all, but it is easily accessible from the A9 near Pitlochry. The Stable Loft has two bedrooms (one double and one twin), a large picture window with uninterrupted views of Loch Tummel, and it is situated around 100 metres from the Lochside. There is a log-burning stove, WiFi, Nest-controlled central heating, a patio area, barbecue and Lochside camp area with firepit. At the bottom of the field, there is a small beach area with direct access to the loch, where boats and kayaks can be launched, and fishing rights on the loch are included. The main features of the Stable Loft are the views and the wildlife that surrounds it. You can sit and watch the Loch and the weather, red squirrels outside the window, ospreys, deer and lots of other wildlife.
Rural, remote and highly scenic part of Highland Perthshire, yet only 15 minutes of the main A9 Perth-Inverness road. The hamlet of Foss is right in by the spectacular Loch Tummel.
