Louise was a lovely host, couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were a great standard (I had a great night's sleep). Very tasty breakfast. Exceeded my expectations.

Virginia Cottage, tucked in the ancient village of Bulwick ,only nine miles from the famous historic town of Stamford , is opposite The Pickled Village (renowned shop and garden terrace ) next to the ‘The Queen ‘s Head’ (with the runner up on Master Chef as chef!), is quaint and comfortable with the added benefit of a private cinema attic for relaxation, as well as a pretty garden and terrace... Stamford is brimming with cafés and restaurants, old fashioned shop fronts and alleyways and is home to the famous George Hotel, one of the oldest coaching Inns in England, as well as having Burghley Estate set just behind!
I, Louise, always do my best to make my guests feel at home, to answer questions and try to fulfil special requests. I am also open to suggestions you may have... I have much experience in hosting in France also - see Maison Mai, Normandy and The Secret Gem and The Hidden Gem, Loire for my level of commitment. Here’s to more holidays!
