There are plenty of restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away. The train and bus station are at the other end of the high street. The flat is accessed from the main street beside the entrance to the Chinese Takeaway. The property is on the second floor and there is no lift. There can be noise from the pubs in town until the early hours, particularly on a Saturday night. There have been new windows fitted throughout the flat which act as a good sound barrier.
