The modern decor and layout of the flat was nice and homely. The location was good because it was out of the hustle and bustle of the city but right opposite the flat was a storage for the electric hire scooters which was convenient. The kitchen facility was useful and handy having access to a washing machine for a long weekend break.

The route from the Holgate to the city centre leads you along Blossom Street to Micklegate Bar, through which you will find wonderful shops, bars and restaurants that line the cobbled street of Micklegate that slopes down to the River Ouse and all that the vibrant city of York has to offer.
