The room was very clean. It was spacious. The staff were very friendly. The room was quiet. It is close to the center of the village. The central square is a 2-minute walk. We went during the winter but the room was very warm.

It is a family business of very friendly and helpful brothers. There is elevator access to the upstairs. Very good value for money. Rooms are ok, beds are clean, towels are changed daily, maybe the carpet should be replaced. In the bathroom there is shower gel in a dispenser. The hotel is well heated. Breakfast is good, it includes local products, olives, spinach pie, cheese pie, soup, sausages, jam, cheese, maybe more vegetables would be needed. The rooms have balconies with table and chairs, the view is beautiful even on rainy or foggy days. The warm welcome of the hosts made us feel excellent.

My family and I stayed one weekend at the Acropolis Hotel and we really enjoyed it.. The hotel owner and his wife were very kind and warm people.. They offered us toast and milk for our children even though breakfast was not included..
They also guided us for everything we can do in Metsovo.. They made our stay there very easy.. Thank you very much. I hope to come again to your beautiful and warm hotel..☺️☺️☺️

Metsovo is a picturesque village in the area of Epirus. There are many recreational activities you can do there especially hiking, skiing and mountain related stuff. Don’t miss to visit the Averof art gallery with rare paintings from famous Greek artists. Also, as it’s one hour drive to Meteora don’t miss the chance to visit this unique place.

Metsovo is a small village in the mountains used as a skii resort during winter. It reminds me of an Austrian ski resort with wooden framed buildings and colourful plants outside and cobblestone pathways. Very romantic and picturesque. There are hikes and mountain biking trails and day trips to go see. One night was not long enough. The area is renowned for its locally made cheeses and wine, and meat. Also famous for its wooden artifoand homemade textiles

Picturesque village, everything withing walking distance.
Picturesque village, everything withing walking distance.
Ideal for families, offering a new playground, huge running and playing areas between the trees and next to the mountain view (Averofeios Kipos and the outdoor space of the central church)- however not stroller friendly as the streets are traditionally stone paved.
Withing ~1 hour drive you will find lakes, waterfalls, mountains, walking paths and other traditional villages.
The food, pies, cheeses, wine, tsipouro of Metsovo are a must try! And the prices are fair.
Believe it or not, this “meat” eating village is great for vegetarians as well, you’ll find many delicious and traditional options!
The clean air of Metsovo will refresh you!
So much intact nature though means that you ll also get mosquitoes (in spring and summer) so come prepaired.

Metsovo is a busy tourist resort with a great selection of tavernas and pretty buildings to enjoy. Parking can be difficult so try to book a hotel with parking. Very steep roads so difficult for those who are unsteady on their feet.

I was travelling from Tzoumerka and
I was travelling from Tzoumerka and
Zagoria and followed people’s advised to visit Metsovo village and stay around overnight to explore the area when visiting Meteora. I found the village extremely touristy with not much to offer. It is larger than the typical beautiful villages we have visited along our route without character or appeal. If I was planning my trip again, I would stay the night in Tzoumerka or anywhere else and skip the village all together.

Ideal for those who love mountain air, Alpine conditions,...
Ideal for those who love mountain air, Alpine conditions, unspoilt forests and outdoors sports ans activities. There's a skiing piste just outside Metsovo and miles of mountains, valleys and local fauna and flora where you can forget about city life and daily stresses.
Although very touristy in certain occasions, this unique village keeps a charm of bygone days, a distinct identity, foods and still the disappearing Aromanian or Vlach language which is steeped in History. Local pastas, dishes and cheeses are amazing and distinct.
Location was great for us. Very hard to find using google maps (google maps in Greece is not very good). Highly advise contacting owner before you attempt to get to the property, as there is a much better way to get in than using Google maps. It would be impossible if it was snowing. We had snow when we were there (April!), so we parked in the main square, which isn't too far.
The fireplace was lovely. The view was stunning, especially with the snow. The host was very friendly.
A truely wonderful place to stay in Metsovo! Our room was very clean and cozy with an absolutely amazing view of the surrounding mountains which my fiancee and I fell in love with! The hotel is very close to the central square of the village (5 minutes away on foot) and the staff is very friendly and helpful! An other thing that I loved, but I may be biased was the smell of milk pie (galatopita) baking at night, which they serve for breakfast, which brought back a bit of nostalgia!
I loved my three-night stay here. It was winter but the room was warm and comfortable, and they made me a fire in the fireplace. Anna is such a sweet and helpful host, and she will prepare breakfast if you want or order you souvlaki delivered from a local place. The location is a little out of the centre of Metsovo but it’s an easy walk to the restaurants in the village. There’s an old fashioned atmosphere to the hotel which I appreciated a lot.
The view is spectacular! Before booking we browsed through a lot of properties in the Metsovo square but they do not offer a view! the view here is breathtaking!
Overall George the host was very helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay special. The apartment is very spacious, clean and organize with everything you will need.
There is also a small terrace outside to sip your coffee and gaze at the view.
This hotel is a really good stay if you choose to spend a few days in Metsovo. It's close to the centre, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and always available, Scarlett the dog always greets you in the lobby, and the views from the hotel are impressive. Glad that the weather was good so that we could enjoy the breakfast in the patio overlooking the mountains. Highly recommended!
The host was amazing, he gave me recommendations for coffee and restaurants in the city. which turned out to be great places! It was really important to him that I be satisfied. There is a small spa equipped with everything you need in a spa! The breakfast was amazing, there is a pastry that the host's wife makes which was excellent! And the view from the hotel is breathtaking
The hotel was very close to Metsovo Centre, beautiful view from the balcony. The room was very clean and warm. The owners were amazing and very helpful with their suggestions on how best to spend the time in Metsovo and round it. Breakfast was great and there was free parking. As a family we enjoyed our stay there very much and on our next opportunity will definitely go back.
The hotel is very nice, in a quiet area of Metsovo. Only 800m walking distance from the central square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with traditional products, soups and food. The wine tour of the winery cellars, located next to the hotel, is very interesting. Book the wine tasting experience together with a cheese platter.
Felt like we were in paradise: nice, spacious rooms with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and the city of Metsovo. Nice and peaceful with only birdsong and no noise. The food in the restaurant and bar was delicious. Very nice breakfast as well. We went to the spa and came back super relaxed. The staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!
We stayed one night in the hotel, which was very nice. Room was spacious; it had a fireplace, not relevant to our stay in June, but for winter visits it would be much appreciated. The hotel has a parking garage, which was very convenient. The center of town and attractions (winery, museum) were within walking distance.
Very nice yard, the breakfast was really good, there was a choice of everyrhing and the owner was nice and helpful.
The hotel is authentic inside and ouside which is something I liked.
Also, there is a closed spacious parking which was important for us as we were with a vespa and whole night was raining.
The hotel was outstanding. The room was very spacious with an amazing view and excellent decor. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating (5 Stars). I highly recommend AROMA DRYOS SPA & ECO Hotel to anyone who wants to visit Metsovo and have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Hotel Bitouni was good and well located, not far from the center of Metsovo. The personnel was extremely polite and helpful.- The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although the furniture was a bit old and worn. We had a great overnight stay at this hotel.
Great location, "state of art" facilities on the suite we stayed at. Owner/Manager and his family made us feeling like home and ready to solve any of our need 24/7. A "must" traditional hotel at Metsovo. Thanks Archontiko Metsovou once again.
Very charming hotel in Metsovo. We stayed only one night going from Meteora to Zagori, but we were welcomed by very friendly staff. Good location in the city center and a big plus was the parking under the hotel.
Very rustic hotel in the center of Metsovo with a private undergound car park. Friendly staff, good traditional breakfast, very good value. Definitely recommended - either in transit or when staying a few nights.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice location with great views. There is no parking at the hotel, but you can leave the car in a parking space nearby. Tavernas and shops are very close.
