The apartment is 85 square metres, with two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and a smart TV (Netflix). The other room has two single beds and there is 1 bathroom. Bedding, towels, soap, shampoo and toilet paper are all provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery glasses, cups etc. with pots and pans and kitchen utensils so you can do your own cooking. We offer you fruit, fresh bread, butter, honey and homemade jams for your breakfast. Moreover, you could also buy local wine and other locally grown products like Greek olive oil, cheese and olives if you wish. There are two comfortable couches in the sitting room where you can relax at the end of your day, or enjoy your drink or coffee on the balcony overlooking the small wood. You could also enjoy your breakfast in the tranquility of the garden. We plan to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one.
I am a teacher and I love what I do. I enjoy working with children and also enjoy the company of people. I enjoy travelling, the theatre and music. This apartment will give me the opportunity to get in touch with people from different parts of the world and find out something about their countries. My favourite topics of discussion are art, culture, cooking and family life. I live with my family in a rambling house in Rafina, My wife, my two daughters and I, are looking forward to meeting our guests and offering them what we call Greek hospitality, or Philoxenia.
The apartment is located in the town centre on a hill, next to a small wood, with a view to the olive groves and the city which can be seen in the distance. It is ideal for a family as it is only 8 km (5 miles) from the beach of Artemidas. The airport is a 5 minute drive and the Rafina harbor is 10 minutes by car. From there you can take the boat to the Cyclades islands of Andros, Naxos, Paros, Mykonos, Santorini as well as the island of Crete. You will also find fresh sea food in the fish restaurants that are located along the street. The Attiko National Park is 2 kilometres away and you can visit with the family to see a variety of birds and animals. The discount shopping village McArthur Glenn, is also 2 km away, offering great bargains, restaurants and coffee shops.
