We wanted a villa which gave us a combination of luxury with home from home feel and with the House of the Barrel Maker we got that and more. The villa is spacious, clean and has everything you need. The upside down style is great as allows you to really enjoy the amazing views. The highlight though has to be the pool. It’s just stunning and with the views and privacy of the villa, it’s easy to get lost in your own world and while away the days. Some days we didn’t even bother leaving the villa. It’s also a great location to explore the northern part of the island and has a great boutique resort about 5-10 minute drive away called Achravi which has everything you might need. If you don’t fancy travelling far and want something even more traditional though, head to Cafe Neon which is practically at the end of the private road to the Villa. Great food, welcoming staff and lovely traditional Greek vibe.
