Our building consists of two completely independent residences. Villa Yiorgos is a superb house, which occupies the ground floor and it has its own private entrance, private terraces and garden, a private, indoor heated pool and a private garage. Separated with a glass wall is the living room, which is equipped with: - a 46' Smart TV - large sofa set and a coffee table - fireplace - a/c unit Next to the living room there is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking. Past the kitchen there is a bathroom. Walking along the same corridor, you come to the two bedrooms The bedrooms are equipped with: - comfortable beds w/ anatomic mattress - a/c unit - wardrobe - TV Both bedrooms have access to the terrace and garden. Across the bedrooms there is the master bath. Washing machine/dryer is also available in the adjacent utility room. A huge terrace with covered and uncovered areas expands along the whole front of the house. Outdoor areas also include: - dinning table for 6 people - comfy couch with coffee table - pool shower - garden with small plants - sun beds Our pool is HEATED and available to our guests throughout the whole year. In case you want our pool to be heated during your stay, you must give us an at least 24hour warning. IMPORTANT: Kindly bear in mind that we charge an additional fee for this service.

The village of Rodia (also known Rogdia) is a semi-mountainous settlement at an altitude of 300m above sea level with about 800 inhabitants, located 16km nort-west of Heraklion city. It is a small and picturesque village built amphitheatrically on a hill overlooking a vast fertile and arable land with olive groves and pines, the city of Heraklion and the Cretan Sea. If you enjoy, good, typical food, you're in great luck, because here, you'll find some of Crete's most popular restaurants and tavernas, where you'll mostly find Greek guests. In the traditional cafes, surrounded by flowers and trees, visitors can relax and enjoy local coffee, tea of a refreshing beer. This place is paradise for wanderers and trekking fans. You can wander in the many alleys of the village and see the picturesque old houses with courtyards full of flowers or enjoy long walks on the village's outskirts, following any of the numerous hiking trails in the area. For more experienced and capable hikers there are also almost inaccessible forest areas, and of course the famous Spiliotissa Gorge.
