The hotel is recently renovated, hence the room was looking upscale. It was spacious and had all the basic amenities, and the spacious balcony was a big plus. The hotel offers room cleaning every day. The staff was very kind and attentive. The best 2 assets are probably the location (10 minutes away from the city center on foot) and the breakfast (had an abundance of options).

Good stay over all! Very convenient due to it being close to Herakloin Airport. The breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent stay at Kastro Hotel. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The location is perfect — everything is within walking distance, with restaurants, supermarkets, and shops nearby. Breakfast was complete, varied, and included local Cretan options. The staff was extremely kind and attentive throughout the stay. A very practical and pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

Large well appointed room on fifth floor had a massive balcony with a surrounding view of old town. Restaurant has very reasonable prices; the buffet breakfast was exceptional.

The location of the hotel is very good. The staff is helpful. The rooms are very comfy and have a very user friendly way of how you control each feature from the curtains to the air con.

We had a fantastic stay: spacious room,, great view, excellent breakfast with lots of choices and very fresh fruits and veggies. Ideally located in the city center with public bus service to and from the airport. We’ll be staying here again. All the staff were exceedingly polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about what we asked about. Located very close to an amazing archaeological museum.

Very large and comfortable room, great view and sea-facing balcony, amazing staff adresses all my requests with a smile, great front desk service and attitude, with quick check-in and valuable recommendations about dining options in the old city. Making this my only hotel in Chania!

The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the old town where all shops and restaurants are. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had a very nice balcony. Breakfast buffet was great with many traditional delicacies. Would definitely go back again.

We came here for the first few nights of our honeymoon in Crete & found staff very helpful & welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Amazing shower & newly renovated bathroom in the room. Also enjoyed the rooftop pool & close proximity to the old town and bus station. Would definitely stay again.

Tucked away and quiet, but right in the old centre.

Perfect location, walking distance from the port and city center, there is a supermarket directly across the street. the room was excellent size and there was a porch. very happy with the hotel selection. We had a small issue on the day of arrival (losing an item on the way) and the staff went out of their way to try to assist us in making phone calls and retreiving the item.

Splendid apartment with a view of the city, port and sea. Beautifully equipped and helpful staff. Everything is close by. Parking can be tricky but that's Heraklion. I wish we'd stayed a week or more.

The location is unbeatable, with everything you need within walking distance. Despite being right in the heart of Heraklion, the apartment was completely quiet. Waking up to the smell of fresh coffee drifting up from the street without any of the city noise was perfect. Nikos is an exceptional host who responded immediately and helped us with whatever we needed. The suites themselves are spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed.
