The location is great - it depends, of course, what you are looking for - it is in a small wonderful village far from the tourist crowd but close to everything in Corfu. The city Kerkira is about 12 km away, the beach is 4 km (Glifada beach is 9 km) away (you need a car in Corfu - I don't know what is the situation with the public transport on the island). There is a grocery store in the village and a tavern where it is very pleasant especially in the evenings. The hosts are great - they gave us information about everything around. The place is cozy and nice especially if you want to be away from dynamic city life, if you want to read, write and explore.
