What I expected from a Heritage hotel: great old building full of history and stories.Stay was a bit different, a few foibles, but a good experience. overall. Room was spectacular, staff excellent ... and the owner (Sanjay) and his son were welcoming, always around and happy to engage. Delightful lady on Reception merits particular mention for positive attitude and helpfulness.

The Beautiful job of restoration retained the character of the 200 years old Haveli and the building continues to fit perfectly with the surrounding neighborhood within the Pink City. My room was beautiful. The staff was exceptional in their friendliness and attention. With its central location I was able to walk to the major tourist sites of Jaipur through neighborhoods that retain the essence of historical Jaipur.

This is a beautiful old property in a perfect position for exploring the city. The rooms are old and spacious , atmospheric and comfortable. The property has loads of charm and the staff can not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. They serve a good breakfast and we had a lovely evening meal there.

You could write a book on this one. And perhaps you could write it while staying here itself; the haveli oozes creative inspiration. No compromises have been made to adapt to changing times. No rooms have been armtwisted into four. The art remains untouched, no effort has been made to rob it of its charm. The owners are perhaps the most humble heritage hotel owners you will run into. And the staff follows their cue. Perhaps the only downside to staying in such a lovely place is you barely step out into the town.

Architecturally reminded me of a riad in Morocco, beautifully lit at night. I booked a suite for £90 a night, room was epic, including a shower with 5 heads! The only negative was a missing shower curtain, which I was told was on order to arrive in a day or so. Didn't eat breakfast as had an early transfer but dinner on the roof was superb both food and setting. Staff were superb, going the extra mile giving hints on sightseeing, checking me out at 10pm, and waking me with a call at 4.30am.
