High up on the mountain. Beautiful views. Wonderful old building, very nicely modernized. Great food - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and owner.

The view is amazing, place is peaceful, you can relax and enjoy the silence. We were in a triple room, a bit small, but well organized and clean, perfect for few nights. Breakfast was perfect, with the right amount of salty and sweet options, fresh cornetti and bread from a bakery and homemade cakes, and some cheese and cold cuts. We also had dinner, food was outstanding! Last but not least, the staff was really nice, helpful and professional. And I felt in love with Branca, their cat, always ready for cuddles :)

Fantastic experience. Views were unmatched. Jacuzzi bath tub was so relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and in a cozy setting. The staff was friendly and helpful, they let me stay in the common area (a beautiful living room) a few hours after checkout to do some work. This was a gem and a surprise! It is very high up on the mountain, so you get beautiful views. It has a cozy and modern feel at the same time. The bathroom was very modern which I liked. Beautiful art and decorations everywhere.

This stay was by far the highlight of our time in Italy. Words can't describe the view. Watching storms come across the valley, the beautiful night sky, all while listening to the church bells from the valley below and the soft chime of the bells on the dairy cows - it was amazing. It felt so comfortable and relaxing. Everyone who worked there was incredibly kind and helpful. And THE FOOD - it was amazing. At the end of our tour through Italy, we decided that a cheese and carmelized onion dish that we had here was the best food we ate. We wish we had stayed longer.

Agriturismo Boton d'Oro is a perfect place to stay while exploring the eastern Dolomites. Located on hillside pastures far above a beautiful valley and in view of towering peaks, the agriturismo is housed in two old hay barns. My room was in the attic of the barn featuring the restaurant on the first floor. (The owners also have a fancier restaurant in Cima Gogna, near Auronzo di Cadore) The food is excellent and features dairy products and meat products produced on the farm or locally. They served craft beer and fine local wines. The staff was very friendly and suggested I walk to the next town around the mountain and visit the agriturismo's dairy farm; this was a classic outing for me and featured a visit with the dairy farmer while he milked his cows! I used the agriturismo as a base to hike in the Tre Cime area and ride the nearby bike trails - such a treat! This is an authentic northern Italy experience! I can't wait to return to share this unique find with my friends!

Beautiful views - even at night, great food at affordable prices, cute wooden rooms. Ours was small but still big enough for two days. Being a cat person, I also enjoyed the presence of two very friendly cats!
