check in was friendly and efficient .Stephine made us feel very welcome . She provided us with all of the information required for our stay in the area . The room was spacious and comfortable The pool area clean and lots of sun loungers . shuttle bus to the beach and into Tropea . They also provide a shuttle service to and from the train station which we didn't know when we arrived in Parghelia train station but availed of it on departure . Breakfast excellent .

I stayed with my daughter and we spent there more than two weeks. We found the accommodation on a random basis. Just scrolling and saerching through counless places. We are delighted and pleased with our stay. The host Maria and her family are really lovely and wonderful. The B&B is neat, tidy and well-maintained. There is an awesome garden with summer furniture, deckcharis and umbrellas on the top of the building. Breakfast served in the morning is varied, fresh and suits all tastes. The location is convenient because of the train connections. You can get to the most amazing places along the coast with ease. Beaches around are unforgettable, magnificant and breathtaking. If you look for summer holidays in a quiet area, away from hustlle nad bustle, do not hestistae and visit Parghelia and stay in VILLA SOFIA:) I would like to say thank you to Maria and her family. For sure we will come back next year.

Lovely apartment (with a sea view), nice balcony. Maria Theresa was a great host. Great facilities, nice pool, close to a beautiful beach if you don’t mind the steps up and down. Pousada’s bar and cafe were also very good and we loved the pizzas. I am so glad we stayed in Parghelia and Pousada, there were plenty of restaurants nearby, a couple of mini markets and a train station and which was one train stop from Tropea.

Great location, the views are exceptional, and Tropea is a short drive - you need a car if staying here. The apartment suited us well for a short stay, myself and my wife with two young kids, any longer and I would want a larger place, although ideal for a couple for longer. The apartment has all the facilities you would expect and need, is decorated well and the are also grounds are kept in good order.

Absolutely sensational stay here for the last 5 days. Alessandro and his family/staff went well beyond making us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious (a different egg dish with fresh cut fruit, juice and coffee of choice each day), the bed was firm but very comfortable and the room was air conditioned. A short walk into Parghelia where there were nice restaurants and some small markets. The beach was near but it requires a long walk down steep hills. Tropea was a 5 minute train ride from Parghelia which was considerably cheaper than the taxi which was €20 each way. If you have mobility issues, you will probably need a car to get around. As mentioned by everyone, Alessandro made us feel like friends and his establishment deserves every 5 star review it gets. Charming, rustic and comfy and we can't wait to return.
