Sara at THE Blue Room Guest House was just great. Very accommodating and when asked if we could drop our bags off early, she said that the apartment was already ready and we could gain access as soon as we arrival. The apartment was quirky, which we expected, very clean, comfortable, and suited our needs. It is within easy walking distance of the train and bus station at Principe terminal and easy to find with Google maps. There is no aircon but there were two fans one in second bedroom and one in the main lounge, however, it would have been nice to have one in the main bedroom. One other thing to consider is you are on the 5th floor and although it wasn't a problem for us you do have to climb +/- 90 stairs to your apartment. Would we stay there again. that's a big YES. Genoa is a great location for trips to Cinque Terre and Portofino.

Blue room is situated in the heart of the city of Genoa, in the historical and characteristic "Vicoli" or "Caruggi". Two steps south to the old port with its aquarium, the sea museum"Galata" and all other attractions. Two steps to the north, for the Principe station, via Balbi, Palazzo Reale Museum and famous palaces, as well as universities. The apartment is just renovated, quiet and artistic design and, therefore, original. Inside the Apartment you'll find all the comforts necessary for modern life and a comfortable stay as a fiber-Optic Wi-fi, flat-screen tv and accessories for modern cuisine such as the electric hob, microwave oven, American coffee machine and Water Kettle. There are two bedrooms, plus an open space. A large double bed in the master room, one Double bed inside the other room and one sofa-bed inside open space. The rooms and many furnishing parts are original and artistically created with eco-friendly materials and recycled wood in style surfart by local artists including me.

From Vico Durazzo, just move south and reach a few steps (100 metres) The Museum Sea Museum and the attractions connected to it. The beautiful aquarium is only 300 meters away. The whole area of the old port is at your disposal. To the north, you can find yourself immediately in via balbi, which will make you reach the PRINCIPE STATION 5 minutes by foot, Royal Palace at 100 meters, the universities, the buildings palaces. You can immerse yourself in the life of the old town with its unique palaces, its districts and small shops,, in the heart of the city without thinking more about the car. If you want to shop, shops in via Roma and via xx September are 10 minutes walk. The Street is quiet and comfortable.
