The sixteenth-century Fontana Pretoria is characterised by life-size marble statues. The foodie scene ranges from street food to Michelin-starred gourmet cuisine, while the narrow streets are lined with shops selling handcrafted pottery, woodwork and textiles. At night the bars come alive. The UNESCO area is a 5-minute walk away, as well as the Quattro Canti. The Vucciria market is a 4-minute walk away. The Cathedral is 13 minutes away on foot.
