If I had to choose one word to describe me, then I should use "research". I am a biologist and I spent most of my life in research. Then I chose to change and as often happens, the events and the situations took me away... and so Marelaguna was born. But one thing has not changed: today, every day, I still go on my research. I like to experiment starting from little simple things, mix the ingredients and amalgamate them to get new proposals to offer to my guests. With the same attention I like to look for the details, the combination that turns any small decoration in hospitality. This is me and the spirit that pervades Marelaguna.

Marelaguna accommodates you in the heart of the Cavallino Treporti peninsula, a long coastline bathed on one side by the sea and on the other by the waters of the Venice lagoon. Each room has a name that is inspired by the beauty of our coast and takes from it the essence and color. The rooms have private bathroom, air conditioning, digital and satellite TV, Wi-Fi, mini-bar and safe-deposit box. Guests can enjoy a generous homemade buffet breakfast, to be enjoyed in the lounge or in the large garden of nearly 5000 square meters. The property is disabled accessible. On site parking is free. We provide our free bikes to reach the sea or to go through the many cycle routes. The beach is less than a kilometer far, has a lifeguard, toilets and showers and a bar. Beach umbrellas and beach chairs are available free of charge. By ferry you can reach Venice and the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello in 35 minutes only. The port is 8 km far from Marelaguna and can be reached by bus which stops 600 meters away. At 7 km there is Jesolo, to have fun in a big water park or evenings of shopping and entertainment.

Cavallino Treporti is sea. In our beaches since ten years it waves the Blue Flag, an international award that certifies the quality of bathing waters. It also waves the green flag too, indicating the beaches suitable for children. Cavallino Treporti is lagoon. The coast is washed by the Venetian lagoon, which create a unique and suggestive landscape. From here you can easily reach the islands of Venice, Burano, Murano and Torcello. Cavallino Treporti is nature. Inlaid in a unique ecosystem, made of soft water, brackish water and salt water. Through numerous nature trails you can meet the most varied species of animals and plants that hardly coexist simultaneously in one place. Cavallino Treporti is history. During the Great War fortifications and military installations were erected to defend Venice: the historical and architectural heritage, unique in Italy, which still remain like evidence and characterizes the coastline landscape.
