About the camp Our camp is located in the Wadi Rum Protected Area, close to the spectacular Jebel Al-Qattar, in an area known as the “Sunset Area” (Um Sabatah). From our camp you will enjoy great views of red and white sand dunes during the sunset. Leave your worries, the traffic and other tourists behind! Located 12 km from Rum Village and 17 km from the Visitors Center, we are right on the edge of the Protected Area’s Wilderness zone We offer a variety of different tent sizes, including singles, doubles, triples, family tents, , so you are sure to find the accommodation that is right for you. All tents have comfortable beds and we provide pillows, blankets, sheets and towels. If you want to sleep outside on the nearby san dune, we can offer you the blankets and the mattress at no extra charge During the colder months, you can sit around a warm fire in the communal tent, where you will listen to Bedouin music, songs, and old stories passed down throughout the generations. In the summer months, the campfire is located outside, so you can enjoy the entertainment and watch the stars at the same time.
