The main building, officially designated as a registered tangible cultural property in 1872 (Meiji 5), is the oldest inn in Owani Onsen, built in 1897 (Meiji 30). Along with the history of the hot spring town, the appearance of the buildings visited at the time of construction was felt in the nostalgic feeling that the impression that many important people and cultural people visited were felt everywhere in the hall, and the time slipped 100 years ago. The place and bath (hot spring) are shared outside the room, but you can enjoy the traditional Japanese hot spring culture.
I was born and raised in this building as the 5th generation. In addition to the ryokan business, I also run a housing contractor in Hirosaki City. I love talking about building and town development.
Within a 3-minute walk, you can experience local life and culture with local sake Japanese restaurants, pubs, restaurants, grilled meat restaurants, yakitori restaurants, karaoke snacks, and more.
