We currently run three accommodations. All of our facilities are machiya-style buildings that have been renovated from traditional 100-year-old tenement houses, and are private lodgings. When I travel, I want to stay in a traditional building that is characteristic of the country, so I run an inn with a Japanese house motif. This old house is also designated as a historical local building in Nagoya City, and is a Japanese home and landscape that was often seen in the early Showa period. In Japan today, such old buildings are being demolished, so it is a precious item for Japanese people as well. In the past, Japanese people slept on futons laid on tatami mats.
