I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Upon arrival, Yoshi and his wife made the place feel very homely. We were greeted so kindly and given some tea to sip on by the fireplace, as we were checking in. The whole house is super cute and our room was serviced daily and kept extremely clean. The shared shower and outdoor onsen is an amazing experience which my partner and I loved. We also added on breakfast each morning, made by Yoshi. I would highly recommend trying his breakfast! It was always super delicious, he would make his own bread. There was also eggs, with some salad, and some fruit, some yoghurt too and there was always some juice and coffee to help yourself too also. Super healthy and delicious!  Overall we felt super looked after and cared for. On our last day, Yoshi even gave us a lift to the Hakuba station. Thank you very much for your hospitality Yoshi, you made our trip! We would definitely come back, and stay here again!

Yoshi was unbelievably kind and attentive. We were able to drop our bags off early in the day and return later to check in. We were offered hot tea while we sorted the formalities and given clear options to book the bath (onsen) and to buy breakfast (which was well worth it). The rooms are cozy and well appointed. I will be choosing to stay here again just to be able to experience the lovely hospitality.

I loved the room, the bath, the faculty, and the location If you want to feel like you are being helped and relaxed in your stay this is the place you want Yoshi has helped me more than lots of places in Japan drove me everywhere I needed and also was so funny and his wife made the most amazing dinner. There was a nice ambiance to the house and it was clean,neat, tidy and cosy. The host was helpful and made us feel welcome and comfortable. He went through the trouble of fetching us and sending us to and from different locations as well as making us breakfast ,which was delicious. Thank you ! 😊

The man at the property is very nice, kind and helpful. The property looks like a swiss chalet, which is very heartwarming. The cleanliness is very good. The public bath here must be booked before use, which make it very private and nice to use.
