I am a big fan of Route Inn - stayed at 5 or 6 around Japan. First time to stay in Grande class. The hot bath was exceptional - men’s has outside bath and a sauna. The room was bigger than usual - perfect. Front desk staff were exceptional. Check out the intricate wood carving behind the front desk. Route Inn is the best business style chain in Japan.

We loved the beautiful kaiseki dinner. The dining room was semi-private which was comfortable with kids. Kids meal was great too. Rooms were large and comfy. Nice onsen too. Helpful staff and overall cosy place. Good value for money.
