Mr. Kudo is super attentive, and we had some great conversations, plus he gave me some recommendations for sight-seeing to squeeze a bit more out of my last day. The room is very nice for the price, everything you need and no more, understanding that you're gonna be sharing the space with other travelers (plus hanging out over breakfast is very nice). Well-connected thanks to the streetcar, which makes it only 20 minutes to the city center. I genuinely only had positive experiences with this guest house, and the "negative points" are just nitpicks.

The host工藤San was quiet, kind and generous. I felt I was being treated like a family member of his. I really felt I was at home staying at 工藤San’s place. He made us delicious sushi for breakfast every morning, even on the morning when we were supposed to check out. He picked me up and dropped me off at the Sapporo station. If you want an authentic experience of Japanese culture, stay in 工藤San’ place, and meet other opened minded and kind travelers like you, make friends and share a wonderful experience with one another!

Kudo-san was very friendly and accommodating. He always went out of his way to help and be kind. His hospitality was truly amazing. I appreciated his recommendations, his cooking and the time spent relaxing and talking. It was also fun to hang out with other guests. There was convenient access to nearby, tram and grocery store and restaurants. It was also an amazing value.

Owners were really kind, even better if you can speak a bit of Japanese so that you talk with them longer even though they can communicate in English don't worry + They can pick you up at Sapporo Station Perfect for solo travelers Went for Yuki Matsuri in Feb which means it was cold outside but the house was warm Bed comfortable

Unique and quirky building that’s unlike anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Great host who offered transport to and from the train station as well as breakfast and bikes to rent for free. Very nice guy and the house was very comfortable and cozy even on hot summer days
