This property is hosted by one of the nicest families I have met during my Sri Lanka travels. The host was always asking if I needed anything, would plan out my meals the day before, and helped with planning activites, tuk tuk rides, scooter rental, and even my bus to my next destination. A+ service and just an all around really nice guy. Will 100% stay with them again if I go back to Ella.

This homestay is very simple fare but what makes it, is how lovely the host is. He could not have been more helpful and thoughtful. He let us know what was in the area and arranged a tuk tuk for us from the station. They also included us in their new years celebration which coincided with our stay, giving us some homemade sweet treats. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot.

The staff was amazing. I never thought they were that friendly but feels like we were friends for a long time. The main thing that I liked here was their hospitality the owner arranged everything that we needed in Ella and that was life-saving to us. Even their meals were of good quality, oh my god I miss that potato rotti.

This was a fantastic stay. Our hosts were spectacularly helpful and kind. They had lots of suggestions of things to do in the area and we're very protective to make sure drivers and guides didn't take advantage on price. We ate evey meal at the homstay and it was all delicious and homemade. It is a quiet place for people who like to be away from the bustle of other tourists and attracts like minded people. The facilities and surroundings are of local standard which is what we were looking for. It was spotlessly clean and fantastic for the price (particularly the food) we made friends here and enjoyed sitting in the hammock on the Riverside playing with the kitten.

Kamal is quite active from the time booking is made till the time you have checked out, knows all about Ella and ll guide you throughout. His hospitality is impeccable , also there is a small river along with a hammock on the back side of the property. Rates for food and juices are quite reasonably priced. If I am back in Ella, without a doubt would stay here.
