We had an unforgettable stay in Ella! Our favorite spots were Little Adam’s Peak, the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, and the stunning Ravana Falls — each offering breathtaking views and peaceful moments surrounded by nature. We enjoyed delicious meals at local restaurants, sampling authentic Sri Lankan dishes and fresh fruit juices that really brought the flavors of the region to life. Getting around was super easy and fun thanks to renting a scooter. It gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace and discover hidden gems around town. The scenery is amazing, weather was very pleasant, we visited the waterfalls and 9 arch bridge. A Buddhist temple. Lots to see if you have the time. The town has lost it’s beauty crawling with back packers and tourist. It’s better to stay out of town and do a day trip to the town. We had a delicious meal at cafe chill. Do not miss Ella! Ella is such an awesome place for families! We spent 4 nights there but could have stayed another couple of nights. Room was clean and comfortable, with incredible views overlooking Ella’s rock and Little Adam’s Peak. Food was really good too, we had dinner and breakfast and everything was cooked fresh for us by the lovely chefs. Perfect location for exploring Ella! The view from our villa, and especially from reception, is spectacular. When we checked into the hotel, there was a lovely Hindu welcome ceremony. The villa itself was quite comfortable but I would not say that it was luxurious. Even though 98 Acres Resort is set in a fairly remote region, our villa had no problem with hot water or the shower’s water pressure. It is nestled in the middle of a tea estate. 20 minutes drive from Ella. So peaceful and quiet. Beautiful 180° view from room balcony including Ella Waterfall. Manager Lahiru and his team of staff look after every guests' needs. All rooms come with tea, coffee making facilities, and bathroom toiletteries are provided. It’s a lovely family run hotel with unbelievable views over nine arch bridge. It’s a little out of Ella town, but this isn’t a problem because the views are worth it and the owners offer a Tuktuk service for a small fee.
