Het huis is indrukwekkend mooi met een prachtige tuin en heerlijk zwembad. De inrichting qua vloeren, muren en kunst is erg stijlvol. De badkamers zijn prachtig. Ayoub komt regelmatig langs en is er voor vragen of hulp. En heel bijzonder vinden wij het om een kok in te kunnen huren, wat we dan ook een paar keer hebben gedaan. Fatima is zeker aan te bevelen. Het contact met de eigenaar, Jean-Luc, was ook ontzettend prettig!

My riad was built on the basis of the plans that I made myself, after having analyzed many beautiful constructions of the south of Morocco, desirous that I was to bring out of the ground a unique riad, expression of the best of the Moroccan craftsmanship. I then had these plans validated by an architect from Agadir. The essence of the style of the riad is Berber: red color, white symbols of the tent and the protective eye for the outside, silky tadelakt on all the walls, furniture, decoration, paintings. The Arab contribution is concentrated on the soils, in terracotta from Fez. The other characteristic of the riad is ecological. Supported by concrete pillars, the walls are made of raw earth (rammed earth), the bricks of which were made with the earth extracted when the site of the swimming pool was dug. Result: in midsummer it is 10 degrees cooler indoors and in winter it is temperate. Living room fireplace with a strong draft. Solar panels to produce hot water. Recovery of gray water which returns to the water table after filtering. Plastic is banned! In the kitchen, sorting waste for compost. Path with sophrological effect.

We have two small dogs of the Jack Russell breed, who will accompany you without disturbing you and who will be your guardians, especially at night. We have surveillance cameras and an alarm system that can be operated at night.
You find yourself in a vacation spot that offers you calm conducive to rest and relaxation. There is no noisy holiday village here! No architecture mimicking that of Europe but a typical place in southern Morocco. To benefit from the calm, we obviously did not choose a busy roadside, but a small quiet village, in front of the Atlas, of which we can see the whole chain on the horizon. Two paths lead to the riad from the National road and the one that leads to the airport via El Gfiffat. Signs clearly indicate them along the road. We provide the most precise geographical indications. Thank you for following them!
