These hotels in Agadir are highly rated by couples: Surf One Hotel, Le Riad Villa Blanche, and Tikida Golf Palace - Relais & Châteaux.
Many families visiting Agadir loved staying at Hôtel Lynx, Surf One Hotel, and Le Riad Villa Blanche.
Agadir was badly damaged in the 1960's with an earthquake so most of the properties are fairly new, hotels account for the majority of the seafront properties with many on the all inclusive and cut price spectrum, the town has little by way of culture, but if its cheap holiday in the sun its ideal. There are some great hotels in amongst the offering however, you just need to pick and choose what your priorities are, most have lots of activities on offer from camel rides, trips to various places and of course the food has a definite Moroccan/French vibe which is delicious, most people speak French and Arabic so some school French will be a great help. We moved on to stay in Essouira around 3 hours north of Agadir, a great drive and well worth a visit for a few days.
It was my first visit to Morocco and found it interesting on many levels. There are many excursion/adventure trips if you wish to spend time in the surrounding area as well as tours in the city. The beach is the main attraction for many.
We used it as a base having spent time in the Atlas Mountains. Also for an overnight trip to Essaouira. It was a good base for us and was perfect for what we wanted, it would not have suited our needs for a single destination holiday. Sea front restaurants and cafes were all very good and inexpensive (for the UK traveller).
Agadir is full of street beggars who recruit young children to pester tourists, the children will come and wrap themselves around your legs refusing to let go unless you give them money, all the while the recruiters will be watching from a short distance ready to pounce on the tourists if they refuse to pay money.
Great place for a week long winter sun break - not too much to do so maybe not a two week stay unless you are a surfer. Stay close to the beach and join many others enjoying the promenade for long walks full of interesting sights and sounds. Beware the afternoon winds, make sure you have a warm hood or light weight jacket for the cooler evenings in winter. A great series of restaurants on the promenade next to the Agadir Beach Hotel ( Playa, Jade and El Toro) make for a lovely fine dining experience with many different cuisines. Try a trip to the large Souk and up in the cable car to the old hilltop Medina with terrific views across the beach and bay.
Large and sandy beach for walking, nice wide prom too. Some restaurants sell alcohol. Many have the same or very similar menus, not a lot of variety, but reasonable prices along the front. Weather sunny 6 out of 7 days, not bad for the end of february. The taxis are very reasonable and plenty of them everywhere.
the location of this hotel is truly exceptional. It's situated perfectly between the beach and the city center, making it a great place to stay for those who want to experience the best of both worlds. The hotel itself is also quite clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable. While the noise levels can be a bit high at times, the strong and reliable wifi connection more than makes up for it. Additionally, the staff were extremely helpful and always on hand to answer any questions or concerns that we had.
I had marvelous welcoming from the receptionist Miss Sukainah on arrival with quick checking to the exact room I asked for. I congratulated the hotel upgrading to 4 stars with complete refurbishments and new furnitures. Room facilitation by Mrs. Mariam meeting all need for all guests was also appreciated. I extend my stay consequently, and still enjoying my stay with New Hamilton Hotel@ Agadir Beach. Thanks for the outstanding managements headed by the Big heart ❤️ Mr. Abdulatif. Eng. Binibrahim, Saudi Arabia.
Agadir
One of the best apartments we stayed at in Morocco! The apartment exceeded our expectations, we really liked everything - the beds are really comfortable, the bathroom is nice, the kitchen and the living room are really big so it’s really perfect for families. You have an ocean view + a working wifi so that’s great. The staff is exceptional, the owner made sure we had everything we needed or wanted (I was sick so he gave me the medicine and advised on what I should use, which I really appreciated). So nice!
Everything..Thankyou to all the staff who are very kind..big room, cleanliness ,balcony, kitchenette, fridge/freezer & nice breakfasts...piscine is also refreshing & nice area generally. I booked originally for 3 days, but continued my stay for a week in all..it's actually one of the best hotels in all of Morocco & for price, detail & warmness, I'd like to upgrade my rating to exceptional ☺🤗
If you like to experience what it’s really like in Morocco then you must come here the staff are the best I’ve ever had very helpful He went out of his way to do anything for you And when he says that he will pick you up from the airport it’s best to go with him to the hotel
I liked it all! At the reception there is a super nice gentleman called Omar, who is always very helpful. Also at the buffet I really liked Said! The hotel is very beautiful and close to the beach. Right next to the hotel there are several restaurants on the waterfront!
The hotel located near to the beach and downtown, the staff were very gentle to us and always smiling toward people, we had also breakfast in it and it was really nice and have different choices. The hotel have a private parking so you can count on it to park your car.
Agadir
Everything there is incredible; Mekki, the team, the place itself, the food... Mekki, thank you very much for treating us so well, we felt at home and enjoyed our time here a lot. We will definitely come back if we are ever again in Morocco. Wishing you all the best!
Liked the pool view, comfortable bed, clean facilities, friendly staff, varied breakfast options and Spa. There were no cats in the hotel restaurant which was nice as there were cats everywhere else in Morocco.
Proximity to the beach, inside arhitecture, sea view room However, my review refers to Atlas Amadil Beach hotel as Labranda was closed and we were transfered to the next neighbor hotel, I would say better.
Lovely hotel especially for a relaxing break . Good for children with the beach close by, all inclusive and pools. Would be perfect if there was some slides etc and warmer pool water
Everything was fantastic. Spent the last two days of our month long trip in Morocco at Tikida Golf Palace and was a perfectly luxurious treat for us. Couldn’t have felt more spoilt.
Agadir
I highly recommend staying here. The hospitality I received from Arnaud and Ibrahim was the best in Morocco. Plus great food!
The location was good near to beach and hotel was clean
