Fairmont Taghazout Bay, The Yogi Surfer, and Hyatt Regency Taghazout got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Taghazout.
Would’ve liked to be near bigger shops so would probably stay nearer actual Taghazout as this is quite far away and the local shops didn’t have much fresh food considering they’re self catering apartments. We are at pieds de l’eau very nice food. Locals speak more French than English so was difficult for my boyfriend as he only speaks English but I could translate for us
Taghazout town is a small village geared towards young travelers and surfing. The Paradis Plage where we stayed is a 20 minute drive away from this area. Both are worth a visit if oyu are beach people.. not much else to do. We were hoping for surf and there was none but not expected at this time of year. Taxis were efficient and relatively cheap. Bus ran regularly to Taghazout town.
Taghazout itself is a little scruffy, but I love that about it. It's not a polished tourist town, it's lived in and the tourists that are there are respectful to the locals and the place as they are mostly surfers. They are in the process of doing the town up which, unfortunately, weill probably mean more tourist restaurants and shops which usually leads to increased prices. Definitely get there while you can, before it's too exploited. Oh and I nearly forgot, the people are amazing, helpful and kind.
For surfing or chilling out, Taghazout is the place to be. Still wild, somehow rough, although receiving several foreign tourists. Anything in this place is easy, doable and affordable. Locals are great, welcoming and smiling, everyone speaking at least Eng and Fre, sometimes also Ger, Spa or a bit of Ita. Food is great, some restaurants also serve beer (“World of waves” is one of those). Defo it’s worth the trip and I’d love to come back soon!
Ideal place for surfing and just for swimming/walking on the beach. During low tide there is possible to walk on sandy seabed (no stones at all!) and also beach promenade in front of hotels is ideal for walking/jogging, there are dedicated places for fitness next to promenade. Taghazout village is lovely, some small shops and cafes. Sad thing is that there was too many homeless dogs and cats on the beach and promenade
A laid back town with a quirky hippy feel to it. A ramshackle mix of properties but this adds to the vibe. Great mix of small restaurants and cafes (a few serving alcohol). We are vegetarian and we were well catered for. Bring cat and dog kibble if you are animal lovers - there are so many street animals - most of which are well looked after by locals.
Taghazout
It's a brilliant one bedroom apartment right on the beach, the sunsets are truly memorable. The village is totally safe and bustling in the evenings. If you want to drink alcohol at you'll need to head to Agadir, there are plenty of place to buy wine, sprits and beer. In Taghazout itself World of Waves sell wine and Beer, you can sit on their terrace for a sundowner. Other hotels also sell a alcohol, but no local shops.
I would highly recommend this hotel as the service was outstanding. The personnel was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the beach was near. Upon departure we forgot our hats at the restaurant so the Guest Relations Manager, Mounir, contacted us personally and made sure the hats were sent to our home address. We will definitely go back next time!
First of all, the booking was all wrong from Booking.com I booked for 5 adults and 2 kids. I booked 3 adults in room 1 and 2 adults and two kids in room 2 But the hotel didn’t not agree to this booking! I had to book a new separate room for one adult! I’m asking for a refund for the payment I made for the mistake booking made to the reservation!
The best hotel and location and service .. cleaning all the rooms and suite best view good vibes in the hotel staff very friendly and professionals, I would like special thank to Fatim zahra it amazing service professional person we were lucky to deal with her tnx you for everything
Spacious, bright hillside property overlooking Taghazout Bay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Dining options on site were plentiful and delicious with excellent buffet or a la carte options. Live music was provided nightly at the main restaurant and bar area.
Taghazout
The breakfast was nice, with nice coffee and tea options, local bread and other marmalade/sauces to put, eggs, fruits, etc. The location is pretty good, close to the village center/shops and the beach area / restaurants. Also quite cheap.
Taghazout
Breakfast was great. The bed was the best we had so far in Morocco and the room was amazing. Location also, we just expected Taghazout to have a little bit more to offer, but that has nothing to do with Munga guesthouse, which was great!
Taghazout
overall a very good experience for what i paid the hostel is brand new with 100 mbits of internet ( which is the highest you can get in Morocco ) stable and does the job. beds are clean and compfy close to the beach 5 to 7 min walk
Taghazout
It is very orientated for young people. Everyday there was an activity to join. Best shower in Morocco so far. It had good pressure. No problem for.me.to drive a little up the road to reach the hotel despite the bad quality road
Taghazout
Best breakfast in town ( avocado , strawberries , black berries , Kiwi and a lot of other things ) as a vegan i had no complaints the hostel is in the center of taghazout 3 minutes walk to the beach
Taghazout
