Excellent hotel, great location, helpful staff throughout
If you’ve experienced the hustle and bustle of Marrakech,...
If you’ve experienced the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, Taghazout is the polar opposite . A hippy vibe and a big hit with surfers and backpackers. Lots of local restaurants providing typical Moroccon fare as well as international dishes ( burgers / pizzas 🤣). Fantastic fresh sea food.
Very laid back. No hassle from street vendors. The locals genuinely just want to please.
English widely spoken and even convenience stores display prices on foods / drinks so you know you’re not being ripped off ( unlike Marrakech )

Very clean hotel & staff were friendly. Lots of activities.
Very clean hotel & staff were friendly. Lots of activities. Good buffet but needed more veggie food as it got a bit limiting after 5 days. Some food said it was vegetarian but in fact had meat inside! Drinks menu was very limited albeit was nice what they offered. Cocktails not lovingly made!
Most annoying thing was the sunbeds. Not only were they really uncomfortable but people reserved them & you had to be there by 7:30 to get a bed. Many beds reserved all day with no one using them. Really needs addressing. Gym facilities good. More heated pools would have been nice as the main pool got busy while the others remained empty.

Want to go surfing in Morocco?
Want to go surfing in Morocco? You need to visit Taghazout Surf Village! A village on the coast of Morocco, not too far from Adagir. Taghazout is well-known for its surfing and its chilled-out hippy vibe but you don’t have to surf or be a pro surfer to enjoy Taghazout! I’m not and I loved it!

The wheather is ideal, and the beaches wonderful !
The vibe of Taghazout is just so peaceful, it's like the Mocorran Bali...
Also, we went on an adventure not far from there, to watch the sunset and surf on the sand dunes. It was just magical ! We also had the chance to make a campfire, the kids were so happy !
And last bu not least... you HAVE to taste the famous bananas ;)
Taghazout life Hostel has the best rooftop we've seen in Morocco. Great for digital nomads: quiet, good wifi and an amazing view! The shared kitchen is well equipped. Super clean and quiet. We liked it so much that we extended our stay.
Moha organizes movie nights with popcorn, tea and cokies. For breakfast, besides the bread, omelet, tea and coffe, there was something different available everyday, pancakes with raisins, or cake, or msmen.
Excellent location in taghazout Bay station + Surrounded by hôtels (warm and sunny weather even in late december, great pannel of hotels restaurants)
We walked a few minutes to the splendid beach of taghazout.
Special thanks to Abdou, he was available throughout our stay and provided us with good plans :)
Beautiful appartment, with modern and functional furniture, and above all with a wide sunny patio!
PERFECT hostel is all I can say. I had the best vacation in Morocco I have ever had. I met the most amazing people on my trip to Taghazout, and now we are friends forever. I left the place with literal tears in my eyes, I will definitely come back. The view from the terrace is just mesmerizing, the volunteers are very helpful. The atmosphere and the vibes are immaculate. Need I say more?
Azoul hostel is one of the best hostels i ve been to in morocco and the best in taghazout.
It's close to the beach, the hosts are super welcoming and nice, the breakfast is by far the best i had ( for the price ).
The gostel offers many activities, like surf lessons, tours to parafise valley and desert tours.
It was right in front of us when we got out of the taxi from Agadir (200 dh). It’s just off Taghazout’s main street and a short walk to the beach (2 minutes). The room was good and cleaned on request, which is nice with all the sand. Staff were very friendly.
