We enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at Ma’xanab. We had a spacious double room as we were two friends and really appreciated all the space we had. The hotel itself is lovely including a spa, pool and private beach area. If you’ve heard of the seaweed problem this hotel clears their part of the beach daily of it which was great. The restaurant is really good (and breakfast especially delicious considering it’s also included in the price). The staff is so helpful and friendly - all around we loved our stay in the hotel. Prices in tulum are very high across all hotels and restaurants - and having looked at the other hotels on the beach strip we definitely made the best choice considering price (for Tulum) location and, unlike many other reviews from surrounding hotels, we experienced no noise pollution (in our opinion). We highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking at staying in Tulum.

loved the decor and the bohemian ambient vibe! it’s very cool and chill. the bedroom was spacious, the bathroom a little smaller. the room didn’t come with a TV which is unusual for a 5* hotel but all the staff were very nice. we loved them and their hospitality.

I came here to celebrate our honeymoon, they greeted us very well, they wrote a letter to wish us a happy honeymoon and provided a wine as a gift ( I don't drink alcohol but I thanked them anyways) Room was large and clean, I liked the toiletries and bathroom facilities, the food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were friendly, the beach club was awesome.

Everything about Hotel Ma'xanab was incredible. The rooms, staff, property was amazing. The staff especially were so attentive and happy. One day we were late for a dinner reservation since we had a guided tour of Chicken Itza and my whats app wasnt working so I couldn't contact the hotel or the restaurant we had a reservation to let them know we would be at least 40 minutes late. When we returned the front desk had already called our restaurant letting them know we were running late and to hold our table. Truly top service! The beach lounge beds were amazing as well and wonderful to not have to worry about getting day bed since there is one for every. Amazing experience
