Staff at Tambuti are always happy to see you and attentive. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is very nice. Rooms are spacious.
NamibiaThe lodge is on the Kavango river banks, and the rooms have great views of the river. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is great and features a number of dishes and beverages infused with local ingredients and indigenous natural products.

United KingdomThe property is a beautiful “green oasis” with lots and lots of fruit trees. The pool area is decent and all in all even though you can see it’s built a couple of years ago it’s a recommendable stay for a night or two. Breakfast was alright, nothing really special but we asked to pick some fresh mangoes and pomegranate apples from the trees so that was a plus.

South AfricaThe room was very nice, big and clean. Very comfortable and the bathroom as well. The garden is terrific. Plenty of green and colors around and birds. The swim pool is perfect and you can relax with the garden view. Breakfast is good with every thing for a traditional western and also tradicional meals. We try dinner, a la carte, and was delicious. I have some incident with the laundry and the staff but the manager was very professional and polite.
SpainLike in the ratings. In the restaurant, a lot of emphasis is placed on local fares. Also crocodile steak :-)
South AfricaAn excellent lodge with a very good garden full of flowers and a variety of trees. Very polite staff. A nice pool and parking in the premises. The room was spacious and very clean. Both breakfast and dinner was very good. Oryx is recommended since it was very tasty. I also want to thank the receptionist for the upgrade of our room. She made our stay even more beautiful. It was a pity that we stayed only for a night.

Located on the outskirts of Rundu, Tambuti lodge offers accommodations overlooking the Cubango River. The lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and secure on-site parking.
Each room at Tambuti is air-conditioned and fitted with ceiling fans, a safe and a desk. They each have a flat-creen TV with satelite channels and the beds are draped with mosquito nets. The spacious private bathrooms have a bath and a shower.
Specializing in tradtional African cuisine, the small on-site restaurant at Tambuti prepares meals using locally-sourced ingredients.
The lodge can arrange sunset cruises in the Kavango floodplain at a surcharge, as well as self-drive tours to the nearby Living Museum of Mbunza. Kayaks are also available for self-exploring the floodplain. A laundry service is available with prior arrangement.
