Anton and his father were local teachers. When Anton's father retired, the villages gave him a piece of land on the river to build this resort. They hire local staff and operate a river cruise to see hippos, and maybe crocs. They do a fantastic job! High recommend this place!

Bagatelle Kalahari Boutique Farmhouse Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Mariental. There is free private parking and the property has paid airport shuttle service. We loved every moment from arrival to departure. All the members of the staff were very welcoming and took a good care of our group. We were served delicious dinner, very good breakfast. The view was beautiful. Accommodation lodges are huge, luxury and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Our Habitas Namibia is a sustainable sanctuary located on a 47,000 hectare private estate, 45 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport. The most amazing location and vista - as you arrive you you feel the stress leaving you and replaced with a feeling of tranquility and well being. Could not ask for anything more and thank you to the team for making our stay so memorable and special. The game drives was amazing and every aspect is catered for, which makes it a very special place to visit and experience. Highly recommended and wish we could have been there for longer.

White Sands Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Divundu. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a grill. What a view! Wow wow wow. The river cruise was a memorable experience and our guide's knowledge of birds was impressive. Can't wait to return once the new restaurant is open - with an unobstructed view of the scenic Popa Falls it sure will be THE dining destination in the area. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Khan River Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Wilhelmstal. Featuring a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The rooms have a patio.... The location is remote, surrounded by a fantastic selection of wild-life. The grounds were immaculate! Even though most of the trees in the surrounding area are, what we call "Devil Thorn Trees", they were all raked away. The staff (shout out to Josie) were incredible. We were visiting with an infant and they made sure we were as comfortable as possible. I let the lodge know that we intended to braai (BBQ) the second night and they provided us with the braai drum as well as a bag of wood! 110% will be staying there again, next time for a week!
